My stance on Medications. Although, many of the clients do not require or do not wish to utilize medication, Alice is knowledgeable about pharmaceutical options (within the scope of social work) that are helpful for the treatment of a variety of mental conditions and symptoms and will be able to discuss your questions and fears with you. If needed, she will make a referral to a competent prescriber who can further answer your questions and work with you to find and adjust the right medication. Alice listens to the individual client and will never be aggressive about suggesting a strategy, including medications.
